Who am I?
My name is Georgios Savvidis. I'm an angel investor with nearly 15 years of professional experience as a software engineer and technical architect.
Having developed a versatile skill set I help engineering teams design robust foundations and establish streamlined processes. Two key elements, in order to transform innovative concepts into valuable products, in a cost and time efficient manner.
After all, an engineering team is arguably the biggest expense for most startups. At the same time, it's what stands between a great business idea and the customer.

At Spotify I had the opportunity to work in multiple teams of world-class professionals. My contributions therefore range from architecting and building internal tools that automate software testing to working closely with product owners and external partners such as Google, Meta, and Samsung, in order to bring Spotify's music on new surfaces.
MatHem
MatHem's mission is the speedy door-to-door delivery of fresh groceries throughout Sweden. At MatHem I led a small team of engineers with the goal to improve the performance of a legacy product that is crucial for internal operations while providing guidance for a new, long term solution.
Flowplayer
Flowplayer's mission is to build the smallest, fastest, and the most flexible player ever made. During my tenure I designed and helped build Flowplayer's first mobile SDKs with a keen eye on usability and playback continuity even in poor network conditions.
